Nigerian Weddings: Traditional Wedding Cakes

In our line of work we meet a lot of vendors - cake decorators, musicians, photographers, caterers, makeup artists etc. Some of these vendors have been in the industry for years and are professionals at their trade, while some are still honing their skills. Obviously, we always hope we meet other vendors on site whose work compliments our event decor so that the event looks beautiful, very well put-together and is an overall success!

On this post we will be featuring one of our favorite vendors - Syndy's Cakes, located in Abuja, Nigeria. Syndy's cakes is a high-end cake boutique that caters to brides who are looking
for exquisitely custom designed cakes that taste as good as they look. I have personally tasted their cakes on several occasions, and they are scrumptiously yummy (and trust me, i am picky when it comes to cakes :)). Syndy's cakes come in a wide variety of flavours including their trademark Madeira cakes, coconut cakes, deep dark chocolate cakes and heavy and light fruit cakes - I am almost convinced that you will be hard-pressed to find a flavor you don't like.

Besides the taste of their cakes, the time and patience they take to design and create their cakes is pretty extraordinary. You can be sure that you will not see unsightly finishes on their cakes. Their wedding cakes range in theme from traditional wedding cakes to white wedding cakes - and everything in between.

If you've read some of our other blog posts, you'll notice there's a common theme - we always encourage you to infuse your own personality into your events. Well, your wedding cake (white or traditional) is another aspect of your wedding where you can be creative. So, if you have an event coming up where you need a bespoke and great tasting cake give Syndy's Cakes a call @ +234 802 3230253 or visit them at 17 Parakou Crescent, Wuse 2, Abuja, Nigeria
